The HBCU United Alumni Foundation Inc. (HBCU UAF) Class of 2024 Top 100 HBCU Freshmen Campaign is an exciting and innovative online initiative designed to spotlight and celebrate the talents and achievements of the incoming freshman class at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
Campaign Objectives:
1.Showcase Talent: The campaign provides a platform for freshmen to showcase their unique talents, academic achievements, and community contributions.
2. Raise Awareness: By highlighting these students, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the exceptional education and opportunities available at HBCUs.
3. Fundraising: The campaign also serves as an online fundraiser to support HBCU students and institutions.
Campaign Structure:
Duration: The campaign runs for 8 weeks, during which students can submit their information and participate in various activities.
Round: September 1 - September 14, 2024 Public voting will help reduce the group to the Top 90% of Competitors.
• Second Round: September 15 - September 28, 2024 Public voting will help reduce each group to the Top 80% of Competitors.
• Third Round: September 29 - October 11, 2024 Public voting will help reduce each group to the Top 70% of Competitors.
• Fourth Round: October 12 - October 25, 2024 Public voting will help reduce contestants to the Top 60% of Competitors.
• Fifth Round: October 26 - November 2, 2024 Public voting will help reduce contestants to the Top 50% of Competitors.
• Sixth Round: November 3 - November 9, 2024 Public voting will help reduce contestants to the Top 40% of Competitors.
• Finals: November 10 - November 16, 2024 Public voting will determine which Finalist will be the winner of the 2024 Class of 2024 Top 100 HBCU Freshmen Campaign.
• Winner Announcement: November 28, 2024
Submissions: Freshmen are required to submit detailed information about themselves, including:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Hometown
- Major
- Hobby
- Extracurricular Activities
- Community Service or Service-Learning Involvement
- Post-Graduation Plans and their intended impact on the broader HBCU communities

1. What is the Class of 2024 Top 100 HBCU Freshman Online Campaign?
The Class of 2024 Top 100 HBCU Freshman Online Campaign is an online fundraiser and showcase designed to highlight the talents and achievements of the incoming freshman class at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The campaign aims to raise awareness about HBCUs and their students while selecting the top 100 freshmen to be featured in an online magazine and social media outlets.
2. Who is eligible to participate in the campaign?
Eligible participants are first-time HBCU freshman students with 29 or fewer credit hours who are currently enrolled at an HBCU.

5. What happens at the end of the campaign?
At the end of the campaign, the top 100 freshmen will be selected and featured in our online magazine and social media outlets. They will also participate in an award ceremony and receive an all-access homecoming experience package, along with HBCU UAF paraphernalia.
6. What is the special competition for HBCU admission counselors?
Admission teams from HBCUs are encouraged to have the highest number of freshman students sign up for the campaign. The team with the most sign-ups will win a special three-night luxury vacation with their team.
7. How can admission counselors participate in the competition?
Admission counselors need to encourage freshman students to sign up for the campaign and ensure that each student’s registration includes the name of the counselor or team that encouraged their participation. They must also submit a report detailing the number of students they successfully registered by the campaign’s deadline.
8. What are the key dates and deadlines for the campaign?
The campaign starts on September 1, 2024, and ends on November 16,2024. All student registrations and reports from admission counselors must be submitted by [specific deadline August 31,2024].

The HBCU UAF Class of 2024 Top 100 Freshmen Campaign (the "Campaign") is a promotional competition organized by HBCU UAF INC. The purpose of this Campaign is to recognize outstanding first-year students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Participation in the Campaign is voluntary, and no purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
The Campaign is operated by HBCU United Alumni Foundation INC., located in Jefferson City, Missouri for any inquiries, you can contact us at hbcuuaf@outlook.com.
The Campaign is open to eligible participants who meet the criteria outlined below. By entering the Campaign, participants agree to abide by the official rules and regulations. The decisions of HBCU United Alumni Foundation INC. are final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign.
Participants must be enrolled first-year students at HBCU for the 2024-2025 academic year. Consent from a parent or guardian is required for participants under 18 years of age. By entering the Campaign, participants grant [HBCU United Alumni Foundation INC.] permission to use their name, likeness, and entry materials for promotional purposes.
To enter the Campaign, participants must complete the official entry form available on our website and submit any required materials, such as a personal statement, recommendation letters, or proof of enrollment. Entries must be submitted by the specified deadline. www.hbcuuaf.org
Voting will be open to the public through our online platform. Each voter may cast one vote per day for their preferred candidate(s). Voting rules and procedures will be outlined on the Campaign’s website.

Winner Announcement: November 28, 2024
Finalists and winners will be notified via email and/or phone within [8] days of the voting period's conclusion. Winners will also be announced on our website and social media platforms.
The Grand Prize for the top-rated first-year student includes:
1. Top 100 Showcase
- The top 100 students will be featured in an exclusive online HBCU magazine showcase, highlighting their achievements and contributions.
2. Exclusive Webinars and Dialogues
- Access to a series of exclusive webinars and dialogues with prominent HBCU alumni and industry leaders, offering insights and mentorship opportunities.
3. Homecoming VIP Packages
- Winners will receive VIP packages for their respective HBCU homecoming events, including special access to games, concerts, and other festivities.
4. Scholarships and Financial Awards
- Monetary scholarships to support educational expenses, awarded to the top finalists.
5. Professional Development Workshops
- Participation in professional development workshops, covering topics such as resume building, interview skills, and career planning.
6. Internship and Job Opportunities

7. Leadership Retreat (Virtual)

- Special campaign-branded merchandise, including clothing, accessories, and tech gadgets. ].
Additional prizes may be awarded to runners-up or other notable participants.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect throughout the Campaign. Any form of cheating, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will result in disqualification.
Winners must provide proof of eligibility, sign an affidavit of acceptance, and agree to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. Winners may also be required to participate in media interviews and other promotional activities.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless [Your Organization], its affiliates, and sponsors from any liability arising from participation in the Campaign or acceptance of any prize.
Any disputes arising from the Campaign will be resolved through binding arbitration, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Participants waive their right to bring claims to court, except for matters that can be taken to small claims court.
HBCU United Alumni Foundation Inc. reserves the right to terminate or modify the Campaign at any time if circumstances beyond our control compromise the integrity or fairness of the Campaign.
Participants wishing to withdraw from the Campaign may do so by submitting a written request to HBCUUAF@OUTLOOK.COM before the end of the entry period.
All entries are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason once an entry has been submitted.
Donations to support the Campaign can be made through our website. Donations are not required for participation and do not influence the outcome of the Campaign.
By entering the Campaign, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of HBCU United Alumni Foundation Inc..
If any provision of these rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect
